SUBMISSION OF ACTIVITIES

This procedure is aimed at UMH vice-rectorates, centers, departments and research institutes that promote activities eligible for credit recognition.
Regulatory basis:
The Regulations for the Recognition and Transfer of Credits for Official Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of the UMH.PDF.224kB (Spanish)
establish in its article 5.1 that participation in university cultural, solidarity and cooperation activities, sports, university extension activities, congresses, exhibitions, conferences, workshops and other academic activities, promoted by vice-rectorates, centers, departments and research institutes of the UMH and whose realization contributes to the acquisition of learning outcomes of the degree by the students, are eligible for credit recognition.
Activity requirements:
For an activity to be evaluated and authorized for credit recognition, it must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum duration: 10 hours of instruction or directed learning.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Students’ independent work hours cannot be counted towards the total activity hours.
Application process:
The promoters of the activity must inform and request the assessment of the Vice-Rector of Studies before the start of the activity.
- Complete: Fill out and submit the following form

- Documentation: Attach to the application the program or a link to the complete program of the activity.
Authorization and Publicity:
If the assessment is favorable, the promoter will be informed of the approval of the activity by the Vice-Rector of Studies, as well as the number of credits that will be recognized.
Important : No advertising regarding the recognition of credits (on posters, websites, etc.) will be permitted until official authorization has been obtained from the Vice-Rector of Studies.
Issuance of Certificates:
To ensure the validity and accuracy of the certificates issued, it is essential that the information reflected in them complies with the following guidelines:
- Data Consistency: The data on the certificate (Name of the activity, Date, Duration, Credits and Signature) must exactly match the official authorization of the activity.
- Student Identification: It is mandatory to include Full Name + ID/NIE/Passport .
- Notification of Changes: Any modification to the authorized data must be communicated to the Service of Academic Management before the certificates are issued.
- The importance of prioritizing the use of electronic signatures in the issuance of certificates is highlighted, in order to facilitate their processing and ensure their authenticity.
