University Sports Activities

University sports activities that may be eligible for credit recognition will be proposed by the Vice-Rector’s Office or the competent official in sports matters. Participation in UMH sports teams will also be eligible for credit recognition.

How are they accredited?

By providing a certificate from the UMH body responsible for the activity, which must specify the number of ECTS credits that will be recognized.

What criteria are used to determine the number of credits?

• • 0.5 ECTS for activities with a duration equal to or greater than 12.5 hours.
  • If the activity is longer, the corresponding equivalence will be established.
  • Activities lasting less than 10 hours are not accepted.

Credits recognized according to the scope of competition:

• • • Regional or local: 1 ECTS
    • National: 1.5 ECTS
    • International: 2 ECTS
