Units:
- Session 1: Some elementary operations and elementary functions: Operations with fractions and operations with inequalities. Description and properties of the following functions: polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic.
- Session 2: Equations: Equations of some well-known curves: line, circle, ellipse, parabola, hyperbola. Solving nonlinear equations: polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric equations.
- Session 3: Matrices and determinants: Basic properties and calculation.
- Session 4: Solving systems of linear equations: Methods and examples.
- Session 5: Solving systems of nonlinear equations: Examples of equations with two and three unknowns.
- Session 6: Introduction to derivatives: Definition and interpretations, basic properties, derivatives of elementary functions.
- Session 7: Calculating Derivatives: Examples
- Session 8: Calculation of antiderivatives: Definition, basic properties, immediate integrals. Some integration methods.
- Session 9: Introduction to Descriptive Statistics: Types of variables. Frequency distribution. Measures of central tendency.
- Session 10: Introduction to Probability: Basic concepts of probability. Laplace’s Rule.
