Continuing education courses of less than 15 ECTS credits

Those continuing education courses certified by the UMH, with a teaching load of less than 15 ECTS (certificate of continuing education and university micro-credentials of UMH) (opens in a new window) that contribute to the acquisition of learning outcomes specific to the degree being studied.

How are they accredited?

By providing a certificate from the UMH body responsible for the activity, which must specify the number of ECTS credits that will be recognized. Only the lecture hours of the course will be eligible for recognition. One credit corresponds to 25 hours, of which 40% correspond to the teaching hours delivered during the course.

What criteria are used to determine the number of credits?

    • 0.5 ECTS for continuing education courses with a duration equal to or greater than 12.5 teaching hours.
